Refraction is a short piece created by the choreographer Eduardo Vallejo Pinto, based on the romantic and epic literature of contemporary authors to develop the vision of it. In this case, he has made a tragic story between two characters, whose relationship inevitably leads to their own destruction.
The piece shows a situation of personal suffocation produced by a state of suffocation. This oppression caused by a constant absence, will lead the characters to sink and, In turn, isolate yourself from desire as conventionalism.
The movement expresses a corrupt and obscure state, which invades and rushes into all areas of the life of the characters. It results in a toxic environment, separated from reality. With a characteristic method in which the precision of the gesture predominates and a great conceptual implication in the narrative, as a personal mark, the author will take his protagonists to a search for needs, found in unhealthy attitudes, such as obsession, dependence and restriction between both.
